Introduction to the exhibition:
Glasstec is the world’s first professional exhibition in the glass industry. It is held every two years at the exhibition center in Dusseldorf, Germany.
It has been 45 years since it was held in 1970. There are nine pavilions in the exhibition, and the contents of each pavilion can be distinguished according to the product category. It showcases global innovative products, latest glass processing technology, new glass forward-looking applications and other glass frontier technology information. It is an excellent channel to open the international market for participants to face-to-face negotiations on supply and demand.
As the most authoritative exhibition in the glass industry, there is a “Glasstec Conference” at each session. At each lecture, experts from the global glass industry and scientists from related industries discuss the latest solutions, project implementation potential and future opportunities and prospects of the glass industry.
Report of the last exhibition:
The Glasstec 2018 exhibition covers an area of 66,945 square meters, with 1276 exhibitors from 50 countries (China, the United States, Britain, Germany, France, etc.) and regions (314 German exhibitors, 962 from other countries in the world). In 2018, there were 42,603 professional visitors from 126 countries, of which 78% were from Europe. The exhibition also attracted 259 authoritative journalists from 29 countries for on-site reports and interviews, enough to witness the global influence and authority of GLASSTEC.
During the exhibition, a considerable number of visitors ordered glass products and processing equipment or signed service consulting contracts. 96% of the exhibitors expressed their very satisfied opinions on the last exhibition and hoped to continue participating in the GLASSTEC
exhibition in 2020.
